A large trap suitable for catching a large number of insects, giving a lot of information on the population in the immediate locality
Easy to assemble and safe to handle, use in cafeterias and collection storage areas
The lures contain a mimic of the aggregation pheromone used by these pests to enhance attraction
Lures for crawling insects, whether they contain aggregation pheromone, sex pheromone, or food attractants, operate over a much shorter distance, often no more than 1.5 metres. Establishing a grid of traps is therefore not a realistic proposition, so it is more important to concentrate on key positions where insects are more likely to congregate or at entry points to vulnerable areas.
